"Captain America" actor Sebastian Stan has shared his thoughts on becoming Captain America.
Stan has played Bucky and the Winter Soldier in Marvel's "Captain America" films. In his interview with We Got This Covered, Stan said that playing Captain America was not up to him, but Marvel's decision. He added that he enjoyed his role as Bucky and he loved doing what he does, along with his love for his character. For Stan, he is ready for what Marvel Studios decides for him and his character.
Bucky took over the first Avenger's shield and served as Captain America, following Steve Rogers' death in the "Captain America: Civil War" storyline in the comic book. He continued his service as the superhero until he feigned his death in the "Fear Itself" comic series and pushed his role as the Winter Soldier.
With Chris Evans' contract as the star-spangled Avenger ending soon and Marvel Studios has not unfolded its plans for Bucky after Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War," it is assumed that there is a possibility that fans will be seeing Stan in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, as per Cinema Blend.
Stan will reprise his role as Bucky, known as the Winter Soldier, in the Russos' upcoming Marvel Comics film "Captain America: Civil War," which centers on the release of the "Accords." The Winter Soldier is set to team up with Captain America, along with Hawkeye, Agent 13, Falcon, and Ant-Man. They will be against Iron Man's team, which reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and Black Panther.
The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016.9488964926
