Becky G is extremely excited for her guest role in "Empire" season 2. The "Shower" singer revealed that her character is very much different from her sweet persona in real life.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Becky G shared that she will be playing the role of a feisty character named Valentina. She added that her character was often referred to as the "baby Cookie" on set. Becky G also mentioned that she will be singing on the show but held that it will be very different from what her fans are used to seeing.
Austin Mahone's ex-girlfriend revealed that she has always wanted to try acting. She said that she never had the chance to show off her acting chops until this opportunity came along. She said that when she heard of the role, her gut told her to just go for it.
Becky G shared that she had a lot of fun on set, meeting the actors in "Empire" and learning a lot from them. She explained that she has always been a fan of the show.
"It's going to be different to watch it because I remember doing all the scenes, you know, but watching it will be really awesome," she said.
In other news, after ending their relationship, Becky G and Mahone decided that they will take a break from dating. The couple revealed that they wanted to focus on their career.
In a separate interview with the publication, Mahone shared that he and Becky G remained close even after the split. He hinted that his former beau will be part of his debut album.
