Selena Gomez is unsure whether she will get back with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. In her recent interview the singer opened up about her past relationship with the Canadian singer.
"We grew up together," Gomez told Elle. "I think people want it to be different...[but] I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner. She also added she will always support and love Bieber as a friend."
The singer and actress confessed she does not want to be associated with ex-boyfriend all the time and wants to move on. Talking about her new song "Same Old Love," she said, "This is kind of my 'forget it' song. I'm sick of all of it."
Also, Gomez recollected the times when everybody was just talking about her relationship with Bieber. She said at last year's American Music Awards that she was "devastated" talking again and again about her personal life.
Gomez reportedly wanted her "The Heart Wants What It Wants" 2014 AMA performance to be the last time she spoke about her relationship. She added that he focus is not to find someone, NY Daily News reported.
Bieber and Gomez started dating in 2010 and they were quite open about their relationship and were also spotted together on various public events. They broke-up in 2012 but were in an off and relationship till last year.
Meanwhile, Gomez's upcoming album is called "Revival." The two songs in the album include "Good For You" and "Same Old Love." The album is set to release on Oct. 9.
