When Apple released the iPhone 6s at the Apple event in San Francisco early this week, Selenators were in for such a wonderful surprise after seeing Selena Gomez take awesome selfies using the smartphone's Retina flash feature.
The "Good For You" singer's cameo may be tad shorter than fans may have liked but it was able to showcase the singer's selfie game. In the 44 second mark in the Apple commercial, Gomez was seen taking photos of herself on the red carpet using iPhone 6's front facing flash.
"That's going to get like a million likes," the narrator said.

In 2014, Gomez talked to Jimmy Kimmel about how "powerful" selfies have become. The singer shared that whenever she goes out to meet her fans, every one of them have their smartphones out in attempt to get a selfie with her. She
"By the time I exit a cloud of the chaos, I'd realize I hadn't really spoken to any of them because they all were focused on the right angle of the selfie. It's kind of powerful now," she said.
Because of the millennial's obsession on always taking the perfect Instagram photo, Kimmel asked the Disney alum if she felt pressured to always share flawless content. Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend explained that since social media had a huge impact on her growing up, she does not feel pressured at all. She added that she actually found it quite easy given that all her friends are sharing snippets of their lives on different online platforms.
