"Daredevil" Season 2 will have two dangerous organizations in the show as well as the return of Matt Murdock's mentor Stick in Hell's Kitchen.
Season 2 of the show will likely focus on Matt Murdock/Dareddevil (Charlie Cox) taking on the ruthless criminal element of Hell's Kitchen, along with the appearance of another vigilante named Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) as his methods on taking down criminals a far more brutal than theirs.
"Daredevil" Season 2 will also introduce several new characters like Elekra Natchios (Elodie Young) and Blakte Tower (Stephen Rider), but one particular person in Matt's life will surely make his presence known as his old mentor, Stick (Scott Glenn) returns to Hell's Kitchen. Stick's return to the show was confirmed from a posted photo in the official Daredevil Twitter Page, as the image contains the ice cream wrapper bracelet that Matt gave Stick as a child when they are in training.
Unfortunately, Stick did not apppreciate Matt's gift, which resulted in the premature ending of their training. The blind assassin returned to the Hell's Kitchen in the episode 7, titled "Stick," seeking Matt's help who is now an adult and convinced him to stop Nobu (Peter Shinkoda) from unleashing a weapon "Black Sky" in the city. Matt soon discovers that "Black Sky" is a person and tries to save it, but Stick managed to kill him and this resulted in a brutal fight between the two.
Stick in the show was shown talking to Stone, a member of The Chaste to which comic book fans speculated that the group will likely play a big part of the show, possibly in season 2, Screenrant reported. Nobu is also speculated to be a member of the Chaste's rival organization The Hand, due to his red ninja outfit.
Both organizations will be battling out in Hell's Kitchen in "Daredevil" season 2 as the Hand could be one of the main antagonist in the show, along with other rumored characters such as Elektra, Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), Vanessa Marianna (Ayelet Zurer) Madam Gao (Wai Ching Ho) and even the Punisher, Moviepilot reported.
"Daredevil" season 2 will premiere sometime in 2016 on Netflix.
