New "Daredevil" season 2 details have been revealed that regarding the rumored return of Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock recieving a new costume in the series.
Marvel Studios teased a new Daredevil costume for Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in "Daredevil" season 2 and unlike the previous one, its appearance is similar to his "classic" red outfit in the Marvel comics.
The photo was posted on show's official Facebook page as viewers will notice that the new Daredevil outfit has a striking resemblance the classic red costume in the comics. Daredevil's first costume in season 1 was made by Melvin Potter (Matt Gerald), who designed the outfit using materials from Wilson Fisk's (Vincent D'Onofrio) body armored suits.
The first Daredevil costume in the Netflix series had a dark red and black color scheme as Marvel will likely introduce the full red outfit sometime in within season 2.
Aside from the new costume, "Daredevil" season 2 will also mark a possible return of Wilson Fisk in the show.
Season 2 will introduce new characters in the show such as Frank Castle/ The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Elektra (Elodie Young) and Blake Tower (Stephen Rider), but Marvel has not yet announced the true antagonist within the show.
Several rumors and speculations indicated that Matt Murdock will face the mysterios ninja organization known as "The Hand" since Elektra's presence in the show will likely alert thei appearance; However, Wilson Fisk will likely return to Hell's Kitchen to finish what he started and he will have new allies with him, Venture Capital Post reported.
Executive Producers Drew Goddard and Steven DeKnight are still on board the "Daredevil" season 2 after rumors about Goddard having disputes with Marvel regarding the show. He told Collider that he is still working with Marvel and there is no "animosity" between them.
"Daredevil" season 2 will premiere sometime in 2016 on Netflix.
