New "Captain America: Civil War" spoilers have been revealed regarding Bucky Barnes replacing Steve Rogers as Captain America and Scarlet Witch having new powers.
Ever since Marvel announced "Captain America: Civil War" in 2014, several rumors and theories made by comic book fans hinted that Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) will likely pass on the mantle of Captain America to someone he can trust after the events within the film similar to the Marvel comics.
In the "Civil War" comic book storyline, It was Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier who succeeded in carrying out Steve Rogers will after the latter was "killed" and reluctantly accepted the role as Captain America.
"Black Swan" actor Sebastian Stan will reprise his role as Bucky Barnes in "Captain America: Civil War" as part of Cap's team taking on Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and group. Stan stated in an interview that the fight scenes in the third installment will be brutal than the previous Marvel films, since two Avengers team will facing each other for personal freedom, HeyUGuys reported.
Stan added that he will not likely become Captain America after the "Civil War" film, as he stated that it is not up to him to replace Evan's character in the MCU, but he is ready for the challenge if Marvel Studios ever decides to make Bucky the new star-spangled Avenger.
In other news, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" star Elizabeth Olsen has revealed new details about Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch in the "Civil War" film.
Olsen told MTV that she and her movement couch Jennifer White are working on new movements for Scarlet Witch in the film, hinting new powers as she wanted Wanda to improve her techniques as a whole and have a huge transformation.
Scarlet Witch has been hinted to be a "wild card" within the film as she is not part of both Cap and Iron Man's teams. She was first mentioned as being part of Team Captain America, but was rumored to side with Iron Man because of her feelings for Vision (Paul Bettany). Olsen described Wanda in the film as "confuse and conflicted" as her status could have a huge impact in both Avenger teams.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be release in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
