Powerhouse club Manchester United (3-1-1, 10 points) will clash with hard-fighting Southampton (1-1-3, 6 points) at the St. Mary's Stadium on Sunday as week six of the 2015-2016 Premier League concludes.
The Red Devils are coming off a magnificent performance against old rival Liverpool, handing them a 3-1 rout behind the goals of Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, and newly-acquired teenage striker Anthony Martial, as per Bleacher Report.
The 19-year-old Frenchman was signed by United during deadline day of the summer transfer window for £36 million, which some have criticized to be too high for the boy.
However, scoring a goal in his debut game would be enough vindication for Louis van Gaal to prove him right about his decision to get Martial.
United is lacking up front with the recent injury of star scorer Wayne Rooney and the lackluster plays of some of their new signings such as Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin and Martial's addition is much-needed.
Meanwhile, Southampton settled for a goalless draw against newly-promoted team Watford in their match last Saturday at the Hawthorns.
Serbian midfielder Dušan Tadić had a good game but his teammates could not capitalize on his wonderful crosses as they ended up tied with the Hornets after full time, as reported by BBC Sport.
The predicted result is a 3-0 blowout for Manchester United. Martial will continue to score or assist in scoring and the rest of the Red Devils will find themselves drawing inspiration from each other following defender Luke Shaw's horrific injury in the Champions League on Tuesday.
