Apple Car Likely To Hit The Road By The End Of 2016?

There have been increased rumors in the recent past about the first automotive vehicle to come from Apple Inc. If the rumors prove right, the Apple Car may hit the road by the end of the year 2016.

The latest document released by The Guardian makes even more facts on the reported Apple Carr reaching the surface. Previously, Apple officials held a meeting with the California's Department of Motor Vehicles concerning the launch of the car.

According to the revealed information, Mike Maletic, the senior legal counsel at Apple Inc., held a meeting with the DMV Deputy Director Bernard Soriano and chief of strategic planning Stephanie Dougherty to streamline regulations for the upcoming vehicle. All the leaked documents are legitimate and mark the presence of Apple Car being in development.

Initially, there were rumors that the company will launch its car in the year 2020. However, currently updates seem to point out that the Cupertino giant's vehicle will soon hit the roads of California.

Given Apple Inc. is a corporation that produces consumer goods, manufacturing an automobile is taking an entirely different route, The Hoops News noted. Apple is considering exploring new dimensions for generating income. Therefore, consumers should not expect the Apple Car to be cheaper than the price of the upcoming Tesla Model S.

While the production of an electric/automotive car may drive the fans around the globe, Apple Inc. might have to restructure its entire business. It will be imperative for the company to sign new import contracts from the government, which may cause Apple not to earn huge profits from the venture.

Currently, the benefits are concerned since the company is less likely to make quick cash like it is the case with selling iPhones and other portable products. Car production will be gradual and may not be available in all countries around the world, including China which forms the biggest market for Apple products.
