After Ed Boon teased on new characters to be featured in "Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 2" that will come out early in 2016, there are more speculations from fans on who will make the new roster.
Among the guesses is Baraka, Smoke, or Noob Salbot as the silhouette that appears to be bald or putting on a mask like a ninja. The character previously appeared as an A.I opponent in the game's plot campaign.
On the other hand, Smoke has the same structure and has also appeared in a special faction Kill fatality for Lin Kuei platers. According to Shack News, Noob Saibot is another possibility that suites the profile to feature in "Kombat Pack 2."
Fans also speculate that the second character could be Rain, Sindel or Fujin. Rain and Kitana's mother Sindel have both featured as A.I characters in "Mortal Kombat X." However, Fujin featured as the wind god who is part of the cinematics in the game.
Character's silhouette number three appears indistinct but seems to have a helmet and chest orb, spurring guesses for the character to include Sektor or Cyrax since the two have the same features. However, given the two characters have initially been eliminated; it could imply that NetherRealm may be planning for the introduction of a new character.
Speculations indicate that the last character is the lovable Kung Fu master Bo Rai Cho portrayed as a drunken fist master.
The Joker may also turn out to be part of the new roster as reported by Screenrant given that Boon recently dismissed the notion of introducing a Marvel character to the game. Similarly, one of the figures could be Indiana Jones or Neo.
