After so many teasers and speculations from fans, NetherRealm Studios has finally confirmed that more DLC characters are coming to expand the roster of "Mortal Kombat X."
So far, what's been confirmed are four additional playable fighters, more skins and one new environment. While no definitive release date was mentioned, Warner Bros. did confirm via its official website that the DLC will be available come the first half of 2016.
NetherRealm Studios Creative Head Ed Boon also confirmed that there will eventually be a trailer coming out. This was not dated or defined, unlike the recent shadowed profile photo teaser that Boon had teased via his Twitter page and as seen in the accompanying photo seen above.
This is a new bit of good news, following the recent disappointment for old-gen users. "Mortal Kombat X" was just canceled following the developer's decision to not roll it out due to unsatisfactory results in development.
Also just recently, a lot of the fighters in the current roster receive improvements. This was announced via the recently concluded Kombat Kast. In particular, Tanya received an unexpected power up with double damage throws, EventHubs reported. In the video seen below, Tanya's throws are now more effective and powerful, giving 32 percent full damage to the opponent when she is in Pyromancer mode.
Currently, this appears to be a glitch, and one that NetherRealm Studios may patch anytime soon. But considering that Tanya appears to have been nerfed with an earlier patch, this may be the time for "Mortal Kombat X" to enjoy Tanya's new power while it's still in effect.
