Hong Kong based action star, Jackie Chan, says that after more than ten years of thinking about retirement, he will let his body decide on its own. Just last year during the Cannes Film Festival in France, he announced that he was retiring from making action flicks.

The actor said in an interview to promote his film, Chinese Zodiac, that when he was only in his 40's, he would be asked when he would stop and he'll reply with maybe five more years, only to say the same thing a few years later, up until now. The film is set to be released in cinemas in the US this Friday.

In six months, the action star will be turning 60, and that's when he said that he was going to let his body tell him when to finally stop.

Jackie Chan is well-known for his death defying stunts, which are physically demanding. He has appeared in more than a hundred movies, and even writes, directs and produces his own films.

The actor also admitted that he gets hurt in some of the stunts. After fifty years of back flips, punches, and kicks, he said it's starting to get tiring.

Looking at the actor, he doesn't seem like he really aged, and he looks like he is still in his best shape. Chan would admit that as he starts to enter the late stages in his life, he is worried that Hollywood's perception of him may force him to use stunt doubles for his signature acrobatic moves, and fears that Hollywood would never embrace him in a drama role.

He hopes that his fans can forgive him when they say that he used a double, saying it with a lively smile.  He also jokingly adds that poor Jackie Chan since nobody in Hollywood wants to make a movie like "Kramer vs Kramer" or" Sound of Music" with him.
