Just like some random story of some random person on Youtube can be known by people all around the world over night, you would believe that a school security guy could be a very talented violinist. Great talent will never hide itself.

Mr. Zeng, 58 years old man has been working at Southwest University since 2007. He is in charge of the overall security and CCTV of the university campus.

Mr. Zeng has always loved music. However he never took any formal music classes or any form of music instrument training. The first time he saw a real violin was at his cousin's home when he was only 18 years old. He borrowed the violin home and started playing with it. He got so interested with the instrument that he later bought a second-handed violin himself for 40 RMB.

"Violin has been my best friend my entire life. Every day after a long day of work, I come home to play it. It helped me go through so many tough times. I pretty much relied on it." Unfortunately, Mr. Zeng had to drop his "best friend" after a few years - struggles with life has taken away both his interest and time.

Till last October, Mr. Zeng decided to pick up his old hobby again. His family are doing well and now he has nothing to worry about anymore. He even got himself a new violin.

He first started playing violin during his lunch break at his security job. A lot of students heard him playing and eventually, they became his fans. Some of the students even ask him if he can coach them. To the listeners, he is a true professional musician. He sounds so skillful that people appreciate his performance for more than a street show.

"Listening to him play every day has become a routine to me." Mr. Zhao who runs a store on campus said. "I admire him a lot and I want to learn from him about violin and his passion for music." Mr. Zhao wasn't just saying, he did buy a violin later and started his sessions with Mr. Zeng.

"I don't charge people. Music is wonderful and it's great if people love it. It makes people happy. It makes me happy. I can teach whoever wants to learn for free." Mr. Zeng said.

There are a few students from Southwest University that already started their sessions with Mr. Zeng.
