Traditional "expensive" cities like Paris and Manhattan are No. 29 and No. 33, below Beijing and Shanghai but above Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Top ten Asian cities are Tokyo, Beijing, Nagoya, Shanghai, Yokohama, Seoul, Osaka, Hong Kong, Singapore and Guangzhou. The report also surveyed some of the common goods. Gas in Beijing is about 8.3 RMB per liter, cheaper than Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
