South Korea was not shaken by the "Attack without warning" threat from Pyongyang on the 19th, and believes Kim Jung-eun's recent outburst has yet to surpass earlier saber rattling from the reclusive nation in severity.
While trying to keep it's war face on with nuclear hints, North Korea has simultaneously accepted an inspection team into one of its industrial parks and has welcomed former NBA superstar Dennis Rodman into Pyongyang. Many speculate that these are attempts to counter the bloody image of Kim Jung-eon which has recently surfaced after he executed Jang Song Thaek, the Duputy Chief of North Korea's National Defense committee (and also his uncle).
According to reports, even as Kim Jung-eun was making his "attack without warning" threats, a group of 30 international finance representatives in Seoul were preparing to visit the North Korean "North South Industrial Park."
At the same time South Korean officials were on buses to said industrial park to participate in committee meetings. So it appears that while the execution of Jang Song Thaek incited universal criticism, the Dennis Rodman invitation was meant to lighten the atmosphere... and to keep foreign capital rolling in.
