On Dec. 22, 2013, to remember the overseas study experience, Korean students in Shandong University held a 5-day photo exhibition in Jinan.

All photos presented at the exhibition were taken by Korean students in Shandong University. Among the students, the youngest is only 21 years old while the oldest is at the age of 54. In the photos, Qianfo Mountain, Five Dragon Ponds and Olympics Sports Center, which represent the characteristics of Jinan, have been combined with Korea's Tae Kwon Do, unique masks and steam baths. All the photos present the Korean students' hard work and creativity in integrating the two countries' culture.

"Since my study life in China will soon end and I am reluctant to leave China, I would like to remember my footprints here during my last few days in China," said Zheng Shenhan, a Korean student majoring in English at Shandong University. Since Zheng came up with the idea of holding a photo exhibition, he has been encouraged and supported by both Korean students and Chinese students.

Jiang Nali, who is in charge of the exhibition, appreciates the exhibit as it promotes friendships between Chinese students and Korean students while bringing new gains to her overseas study experience. "A lot of Chinese students came to the exhibit and wrote down greetings and messages to Korean students on the guest books. I once asked myself, how to get used to the life in Jinan when I am far away from my home country? The answer is actually in our cameras," said Jiang Nali. She shares, "We all love China, and we are unwilling to leave China so we have to make use of the rest time to capture every wonderful moment."
