New "Arrow" season 4 details have been revealed regarding rumored character deaths, Ray Palmer's return and David Ramsey responding to criticism about John Diggle's costume.
A new rumor has been making rounds regarding the possible character deaths in "Arrow" season 4 as Stephen Amell posted a photo, along with "The Flash" cast member Grant Gustin on his Instagram account, wearing dark suits and with the caption "Game changing scenes are fun," indicating that another shocking scene will take place within the story.
Amell teased before during the DragonCon event three weeks ago that several secret elements will be present in "season 4," which is not been done within the show. Perhaps the death of a major character could happen within the show.
Two major characters are hinted to possibly die in "Arrow" season 4: Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) or Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), Moviepilot reported. Felicity could be the obvious choice since she is Oliver's girlfriend at the start of the show, and with Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough) trying to find out who Green Arrow is and his closes associates are, she could be in more danger than ever before. Her death could harden Oliver's heart and pave a way for him and Laurel Lance/Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) to be together again, similar to the comics; however, this move could likey stir up Olicity fans and since Felicity has been a huge part of the series, the showrunners will not likely kill her off.
Quentin Lance, on the other hand, could bring a major blow to the show not just for Oliver, but for Laurel as well since she already lost her sister, Sarah in season 3 (Caity Lotz). Captain Lance, along with Felicity, have been in the show since the first season and him being killed could have serious impact within Team Arrow. His death could harden Laurel's resolve in crime fighting or drive her away from others knowing she has lost everything she loves.
In other news, David Ramsey answered several criticism regarding John Diggle's costume in "Arrow" season 4. Several fans were not pleased on how Diggle's costume looks like especially his helmet as it was compared to that of X-Men character, Magneto. Ramsey stated in an interview that he liked the critism he recieves from Diggle's costume and teased that by the time fans watch him in action with his costume, they will not think of him as Magneto as its features are very cool to see on TV. He pointed out that the costume was made from S.T.A.R. Labs, ComicBookResources reported.
Aside from Diggle's costume, Executive Producer Wendy Mericle hinted that Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh) could return to the show before appearing in "Legends of Tomorrow". Ray was presumed dead during the season 3 finale after he was fixing the A.T.O.M. suit which resulted in a explosion to Palmer Tech building. Mericle added that Ray's return could have tensions between him, Felicity and Oliver, but assures Olicity fans that there is no need to worry about it.
"Arrow" season 4 will premiere on October 7 on the CW Network.
