New "The Flash" season 2 rumors have been revealed regarding Eddie Thawne being the main antagonist and how wll Cisco Ramon handle his new powers.
The show's main cast member Carlos Valdes revealed new details on how his character, Cisco Ramon, will handle his powers within season 2. Valdes stated in an interview that Cisco will have a difficult time grasping his status as a metahuman due to the revelation that Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh/Matt Letscher) told him during the show's season 1 finale.
Unlike Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) who quickly accepted his status as a metahuman beginning in the show, Cisco will slowly go to through the process of accepting his new abilities as he feels uncomfortable with the idea of seing the "vibrations" of other alternate worlds after the dreams of his death at the hands of the Reverse-Flash before Barry reset the timeline in season 1, International Business Times reported.
Cisco in "The Flash" TV series is S.T.A.R. Labs resident tech genius and superhero fan boy who is responsible for giving the names of different metahumans and villains they have encountered. Cisco in the DC comics will become the superhero Vibe and has the ability to control vibration be it molecular ot sonar.
Aside from Cisco's powers, the new villain in "The Flash" season 2 Zoom could be someone close to Barry and the rest of group.
Several rumors hinted that Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) could be the show's version of Zoom due to the similarities presented by both Eddie and Hunter Zolomon. Both characters are policemen and believed in doing what is necessary for the right cause in there own way, Fashion&Style reported.
Eddie in the season 1 finale killed himself in order to stop Reverse-Flash from killing Barry. His deceased body what sucked into the singularity. Perhaps the singularity changed Eddie, granting him powers. If he does return to the show, he will likely go after Barry after he is forced to make the decision kill himself to save him knowing Barry was not strong enough beat Reverse-Flash.
"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on Oct. 7 on the CW Network.
