New "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 details have been revealed regarding new opening scene and possibility of Hawkeye appearing in the show.
Marvel and ABC have streamed the opening sequence for episode 1 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 and it features the appearance of a new Inhuman character, the new rival agency, Advanced Threat Containment Unit and Daisy Johnson/Quake's (Chloe Bennet) new task force team.
Episode 1 will be titled "Laws of Nature" which will have Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team search super powered people from across the globe after Terrigen spreadout into the ocean and ends up in Fish Oil products, transforming normal humans with potential Inhuman DNA into an actual Inhuman. Coulson will also have to deal with the ATCU as they are tasked by the United States government to apprehend or eliminate any super powered being around country, ComingSoon reported.
The opening scene in episode 1 starts off with a new Inhuman character named Joey who has just gone through Terrigenesis and is scared and confuse of what is happening to him due to his ability to melt everything he touches, causing mass panic in the city.The ATCU shows up and tries to capture him by any means necessarry as Joey was about to comply, his uncontrollable powers reacted and cause their guns to melt and a car to explode in front of them. Joey was about to be captured by the ATCU soldiers, but he is suddenly saved by Daisy Johnson, Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie (Henry Simmons) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood).
Daisy has displayed great control over her powers and tries to calm Joey down. Joey then was transported to the new "Bus" transport and will likely end up in S.H.I.E.L.D's base. The scene ends with the appearance of ATCU's leader, Rosalind Price (Constant Zimmers).
In other news, there are rumors making rounds that Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) will appear in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3. Renner teased fans at Wizard World Chicago that he has not yet "invited" to the show hinting that he is interested to see his character mingle with Phil Coulson and the rest of the team given he is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and founding member of the Avengers, ComicBook reported.
The "Misson Impossible - Rogue Nation" star added that he is open for the idea provided that the shooting location is somewhere near his family and that the final decision will be made by the showrunners.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will premiere on September 29 on ABC.
