New details for the "Spider-Man" 2017 film have been revealed regarding Peter Parker's real age in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Kraven The Hunter as the new villain in the film.

Director Jon Watts revealed how old Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) really is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Marvel Studios take on the web-slinger, which will be a younger and a bit inexperience, as recent reports revealed that Peter began his superhero career for just a year. Watts stated in an interview that Peter Parker in the MCU will be 15-year-old high school freshman and that the "Spider-Man" 2017 movie will be a coming-of-age type story as Peter must struggle to balance his school work and being a superhero in New York, Heroic Hollywood reported.

Spider-Man will first make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in "Captain America: Civil War" while several rumors claim that Spidey will likely join Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) as the latter will be responsible for Peter's equipment such as his costume and web shooters.

However, there are also speculations that Spidey will betray Iron Man and join Steve Rogers/Captain America's side as he was not present during the superhero line-ups of both teams, along with Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), hinting both characters will switch sides in the film.

Aside from Peter Parker's age, there is also a new character making his live-action debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Kraven The Hunter - who will likely be Spidey's adversary in the "Spider-Man" 2017 movie, The Christian Post reported.

The new Spider-Man film was said to have three villains: Kraven plus will be joined by Mac Gargan/Scorpion and Adrian Toomes/Vulture. Both Scorpion and Vulture were mentioned in a leak cast list for the movie as Jason Biggs (American Pie) will portray Mac Gargan, while Billy Zane will play Adrian Toomes.

However, the film's script writers John Francis Daily and Jonathan Goldstein dismissed the rumors of Scorpion and Vulture as villains.

Kraven the Hunter was heavily mentioned by the fans and Marvel Studios, as Sony vice president of creative affairs Karen Moy began purchasing several comic book issues of "Kraven's Last Hunt" a few months ago for research.

Spider-Man will appear first in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016 and his new solo film on July 28, 2017.
