"Clash of Clans" fans are eagerly awaiting for the inaugural ClashCon as the convention will bring announcements about updates on their favorite game.
Some updates already announced that it will include new troops and improved core gameplay to even out the playing field in the Clan Wars or against enemy villages, according to The Bitbag.
Supercell, developer of the highly popular action-adventure game, promises to introduce other, more exciting updates at the 2015 ClashCon that is expected to be held on October 24 in Helsinki, Finland.
COC's developer is not divulging details as to what they are announcing; however, fans have been left to speculate, and one speculation by Gottabemobile is that Clan War Tournaments will be introduced.
This means that after a clan wins a war, a clan member will face a member of another clan that also won their own war in a bracked system like a tournament.
One clan will emerge victorious, and probably earn larger loot bonuses. This feature will most likely be optional, just as Clan Wars are.
To further fuel the rumor mill on this gossip, ClashCon will actually stage "Clan War Tournaments," both 10 vs. 10 and 5 vs. 5, which leads to another rumor that the 5 vs 5 format might also be featured in the game soon.
In line with Supercell's commitment to make COC a game that will be playable for years to come, new developments will continually be introduced, and another such development that might be announced at the ClashCon will be a new Town Hall. A Town Hall 11 would mean new troops and upgrades, which is highly-anticipated.
Other exciting developments, according to the source, could include more walls, a level 8 Barbarian, as hinted in a video released by COC developer Galadon, and new troops on The Dark Barracks.
Finally, a new hero and new missions for the single player map might be forthcoming, as well as new achievements for players to work towards.
All-in-all, ClashCon is eagerly awaited by COC fans worldwide, who can't wait for Oct. 24 to roll around.
