This September had some updates for Supercell's widely popular mobile game "Clash of Clans," which did not turn out to be big as such. The upcoming October Clash Con Gaming event promises big updates for the game.
There were maintenance break for "Clash of Clans" on Sept. 22 and 23, All Clash reported. Traditionally, a maintenance break implies that something new is in development, but the September maintenance breaks have no relationship with the update that already occurred.
This month had such updates like the Lightning Spells being made stronger at levels 5-6 and also availed to Town Hall 8-9 at the same level. Town Hall 10 can update Lightning spells to Level 7. The update also involved the Poison, Earthquake, and Freeze Spells.
As a result of the September update, there is a new tiebreaker feature. In case the scores are even, then the game totals up the amount of damage from each attack, and eventually the team with the most overall total damage percentage emerges as the winner. There is also the Walls feature that allows Town Hall 10 gamers to get 25 new walls to assist surround and protect their base.
Most significant are the blue lightning level 11 walls that have been replaced with some lava walls. Supercell similarly provided a quick "Army overview" button as anticipated by fans. The button allows players to immediately check troop counts, clan castle contents, layout, and spells without leaving the Clan War map.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, one of the biggest updates is eminent for "Clash of Clans" during the first ever Clash Con Gaming Event on Oct. 24.
The first update will be Town Hall 11 since most players cannot advance in the game after getting to Level 10. With the update on Town Halls, there are high chances of upgrading Barbarians to Level 8. More will be added to the Dark Barracks because those four spots that say "coming soon" could receive some new powers.
Fans should also expect Clan War Tournaments. This will mean that after each clan wins, they face a member from a different clan that also emerged as a winner, with a bracketed system like a tournament.
Supercell will likely add a new single player map and some new achievements and quests. There are even speculations of a 3rd hero after the King and Queen, previously rumored from Supercell on April 1.
