"Cool for the Summer" singer Demi Lovato took to Twitter to thank her fans who supported her recent nude magazine photos.
"This means everything to me... You have no idea.... Thank you so much... #CONFIDENT," Lovato tweeted on Oct. 2, Friday. On the same day, the issue of Vanity Fair featuring her unretouched nude photos was released.
To show their support, Lovato's fans took to Twitter to make the hashtag #WeAreProudofYouDemi trend worldwide.
The former "The X-Factor" judge's unretouched nude photos were taken by Patrick Ecclesine in a hotel room. She explained to the magazine that she decided to do the photo shoot because when she thinks of being confident, she thinks of many things "but one thing in particular is feeling comfortable in your own skin."
Titled "Confident," Lovato's fifth studio album is set to be released by Safehouse, Hollywood and Island Records on Oct. 16. On Dec. 18, 2013, the singer-songwriter announced that she would focus on recording the album so she would not return to "The X Factor" season 4.
Aside from "Cool for the Summer," the "Confident" album has 10 other tracks. Among them are two collaboration songs, which are "Kingdom Come" featuring Iggy Azalea and "Waiting for You" featuring Sirah.
Meanwhile, in a recent visit to Vancouver, Lovato was spotted wearing a monochrome Bradot Boned Draped Bodice Jumpsuit featuring a strapless white bodice paired with Saint Laurent Classic Janis 105 Pumps, according to Hollywood Life.
Aside from releasing her fifth studio album "Confident," Lovato is also filming "Charming" and "Get Smurfy," in which she lends her voice to characters Lenore and Smurfette, respectively.
