HTC is planning to launch HTC A9, or HTC Aero at a special virtual media event on Oct. 20. It will also unveil the devices which will soon receive the Android Marshmallow update.
It is further believed that HTC A9 will come equipped with Android Marshmallow out of the box.
HTC Aero is rumored to be equipped Quad HD display and a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It is also expected to sport 4GB of RAM, and also a very powerful primary camera. It is also being said that this camera will be capable of shooting RAW. It is expected to be released for the AT&T users, and soon after for the rest of the carriers. It might be priced at $600.
According to the Taiwanese company, the devices HTC One M9 and One M8 will receive the Android Marshmallow update within this year for sure. Other devices which can expect this update are HTC One M9+, One E9+, One ME, along with Butterfly 3 and a few more. This list is yet to be confirmed.
The rumor also states that HTC did not do very good with its One M9, with a lot of things left to be desired. Hence, the company is leaving no stone unturned to give its customers the upcoming software update as soon as possible. Android Marshmallow update will enhance the battery life according to BGR.
With Android Marshmallow all set to release on Oct 5, all the tech giants are gearing up to release the firm ware update for the device under their hoods. HTC is preparing to release this upgrade for almost all of its recently released devices within this year, according to Android Police.
