March 27th, according to General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ), Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has submitted a recall report to AQSIQ. Lenovo decides to recall approximately over 117,732 batteries from March 27th, 2014. These lithium ion batteries are in Thinkpad Notebooks sold from October 2010 to April 2011, involving machine model ThinkPad Edge 11, Edge 13 series; T410; X100e, X201, ThinkPad X201s series laptop lithium ion batteries.

These recalled lithium ion batteries might go out of order at times, which could result in battery overheated and may cause fire. Lenovo will provide free replacement lithium ion batteries for these recalled batteries. Lenovo users can call 800-8103-315, 86-10-58859595 or visit their website www.lenovo.com/batteryprogram2014 to confirm whether your batteries belong to the scope of this recall.
