Sony has finally made it official. Five bundles for the PS4 have officially dropped in prices, making this an official price cut for the PS4 in the United States. The bundles have received as $50 price cuts, especially for older released PS4 bundles.
Three of the PS4 bundles were brought down by $50, namely the Limited Edition "Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars" PS4 bundle, the Limited Edition "Star Wars Battlefront" PS4 bundle and the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" PS4 bundle. The other two, the Limited Edition "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" 1TB PS4 and the Canada-exclusive "NHL 16" PS4 bundle both got $20 discount from their original price, according to the PlayStation Blog.
The new price points of the PS4 bundles will be effective on Oct. 9 both in the U.S. and Canada. This move puts the PS4 on the same pace as the Xbox One, as Microsoft had recently presented more Xbox One bundles with the upcoming holiday games.
Apart from the new and cheaper PS4 bundles, there is also an ongoing sale over at the PlayStation Store, spotted by The Games Cabin. There are a lot of titles currently on sale for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
The discounts on the PS4 go as high as 70 percent. Some of the titles on the list include "Mortal Kombat X," "Strider," "Child of Light," "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition," "Meta; Slug 3," "Bastion," "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" Gold Edition, "Goat Simulator," "FEZ" and "Battlefield Hardline" Ultimate, Standard and Deluxe editions.
The PS3 and PS Vita also have a long list of titles being offered. Most of the titles are older ones, though there are notable titles, like "The Last of Us" GOTY edition and "Battlefield Hardline" Ultimate and Deluxe Editions.
