"The Sims 4" fans will have to hold off on letting their Sims socialize in unique clubs as the teased expansion Get Together will need a little more time before its launch on Dec. 8.
Electronic Arts confirmed that the delay is part of the process as the developer needs time to ensure that the pack will contain all of the necessary features. Developer Maxis and EA were monitoring fan feedback and reaction since Get Together was teased, and as such, the team is adding more depth to the expansion.
"We think this time will allow us to make the experience even bigger, better and cooler. We're working on some new items and features that we really think you're going to love," said EA over The Sims official website.
The expansion will introduce include a new board game, a diving rock for Sims to enjoy during vacations and even an improvement on the Clubs. The Clubs are supposedly the new social experiences hub for Sims. Upon improving this feature, EA had added a new special hangout for the clubs, such as the private room at a café for the Upper Crusts or even an exclusive disco place for those with some groovy dance moves.
EA promised that there will be more information on the Get Together expansion coming in November. Presumably, this update will include any additional features that will be added following the delay.
In the meantime, fans can let their Sims celebrate Halloween spooky-style. The most recent expansion for "The Sims 4" to date is the Spooky stuff pack.
Released towards the end of September, the Spooky Stuff pack will bring in decorations and costumes that could create a complete Halloween party. The pack includes two gameplay objects, which are the Spooky Candy Bowl and the Pumpkin Carving station, Gameranx reported. To top off the Halloween party, "The Sims 4" Spooky Stuff pack is also bringing in some new recipes, including the Eyeball Cheese Plate, Zombie Cake and Spooky Cookies to give your Sim-guests a scare.
