Android 6.0 Marshmallow will soon be running Sony Xperia C4. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will bring in great improvements, as well as, exclusive Sony features.
Following Google's official announcement about its Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Sony then released a list of their smartphones that will soon receive the new Android version via an over the air (OTA) update. The ful list came out last Oct. 6 via its own official blog site, the Sony Mobile.
"We've been working hard to bring this major update as many of our devices as possible, as quickly as we can. We're really excited about the new Sony features & functionality and the improvements we've made to the user experience - and we'll be sharing more soon... so stay tuned to the blog and @SonyMobileNews for all the latest news on timings and features," the blog continued.
Sony, the Japanese tech giant, released no official schedule as of this date, but it is speculated within the community that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout may happen before the year ends.
Other Sony smartphones included on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout list are: Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, and Xperia M4 Aqua.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow key features that will come to the rest of Sony devices include improved app permissions; Android pay, fingerprint support; enhanced battery-life; a redesigned App Drawer and an enhanced Google Now, Android Origin reported.
