"The Avengers" actor Mark Ruffalo has been reported to appear in Taika Waititi's forthcoming Marvel Comics film "Thor: Ragnarok."
Ruffalo is known to play The Hulk in "The Avengers" films. According to JoBlo, the green giant was set to work hand in hand with the god of thunder Thor in the impending apocalypse in Waititi's upcoming film. the publication also mentioned that the catastrophic event would happen in a distant locale that was neither Asgard nor the Earth.
In Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," The Hulk was seen leave the action and go somewhere in Fiji. Most fans, however, speculate that the green Avenger ended up in space. It is also assumed that The Hulk has either teamed up with the Guardians of the Galaxy or set up his "Planet Hulk" story arc.
According to Cinema Blend, The Hulk could join Thor in an adventure in "Thor: Ragnarok" and face opposing forces. The publication also mentioned that the Green Giant could stay in a distant planet with the belief that it was the sole place where he was not a threat to anyone. Then, The Hulk could join the battle against the Mad Titan Thanos in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's forthcoming duology "Avengers: Infinity War."
Meanwhile, "Thor: Ragnarok" will see Chris Hemsworth reprise his role as Thor while Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Thor's wicked brother, Loki. Jaimie Alexander is also set to appear in the film, playing the role of Lady Sif.
Waikiki's "Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Nov. 3, 2017. Meanwhile, the Russos' "Avengers: Infinity War - Part I" is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018 while "Avengers: Infinity - Part II" hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
