"Masters of Sex" actor Teddy Sears has shared his thoughts on his character's story arc in the second season of the CW television series "The Flash."
Sears plays the speedster Jay Garrick in CW's "The Flash," in his interview with Comic Book Resources, Sears said that his character Garrick would find a friend in Grant Gustin's Barry Allen. The actor also said that fans would begin to see Garrick get closer to Danielle Panbaker's Dr. Caitlin Snow as they spend get along with each other as scientists.
In addition, to Garrick's social development with other characters in the series, Sears also said that Garrick would struggle with his identity because he would feel that he was different without his speed. For Sears, Garrick would try to decipher what kind of life would await him without his special ability.
Aside from his role in CW's "The Flash," Sears is also set to appear in Barry Sonnenfeld's comedy film "Nine Lives" and Catherine Eaton's drama film "Liv."
Meanwhile, Jesse Warns' "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 2, entitled "Flash of Two Worlds," saw Garrick reveal to everyone that he was the Flash in his world and he had battled an evil speedster named Zoom, as per International Business Times. The latter had brought Garrick to Allen's world and had left him powerless.
The series stars Sears as Garrick, Adam Copeland as Atom-Smasher, Candice Patton as Iris West, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Jesse Martin as Joe West, and Grant Gustin as Allen, among others. The cast also includes Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow.
Jesse Warn's Season 2 Episode 2, which was entitled "Flash of Two Worlds" aired on Oct. 13 while John Showalter's Episode 3, entitled "Family of Rogues" will air on Oct. 20.
