Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man" Blu-ray trailer had been released andit has got more of Michael Peña.
Peña played the role of the ex-con Luis in Reed's "Ant-Man." In the trailer, the actor was in character as he described all the things that are part of the package via his voiceover. The trailer also featured some scenes like gag reels, which included Paul Rudd dancing in his Ant-Man suit, how the production crew did the film sequences and Ant-Man's shrinking scenes, and some deleted sequences.
In Reed's film, Luis is part of the ex-con group that helped Scott Lang acquire Dr. Hank Pym's Ant-Man suit, which led him to become Marvel's tiniest superhero.
According to Cinema Blend, Peña's higher screen time in Reed's "Ant-Man" made him funnier than his appearance in Ridley Scott's "The Martian," which also starred Sebastian Stan, Donald Glover, Mackenzie Davis, Sean Bean, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Jessica Chastain, and Damon as Watney.
Meanwhile, Rudd is set to reprise his role as Ant-Man in the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" prior to his reprise in Marvel's forthcoming "Ant-Man and the Wasp," which also stars Evangeline Lily as the female superhero.
Ant-Man is set to team up with Captain America, Hawkeye, Falcon, and Agent 13. They will oppose Iron Man's team, which reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and Black Panther. Spider-Man is also set to appear in the film; however, no information yet as to which side he is in. Meanwhile, the Wasp's inclusion in the film is yet to be revealed.
Reed's "Ant-Man" will be released on digital platforms and the Disney Movies Anywhere app on Nov. 12 and Blu-ray/DVD on Dec. 8, as per USA Today.
"Ant-Man and the Wasp" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on July 6, 2018 while the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
