"American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 Episode 3 reveals more shockers, dark secrets as it delves deeper into the history of Hotel Cortez and its owner Mr. March (Evan Peters). The upcoming segment is titled "Mommy" and will reveal more about Holden (Lennon Henry), who his sister Scarlett (Shree Crooks) thinks is still alive. In Episode 2, this season's villain was introduced. Fans met Mr. March and learned what was happening in the hotel. Meanwhile, Alex (Chloe Sevigny) and John's (Wes Bentley) daughter Scarlett finds her brother Holden in a glass casket and think he is still alive.
Episode 3 "Mommy" will focus on Alex who struggles with the memories of her child. According to the synopsis (via SpoilerTV) for the upcoming segment of "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5, Alex reaches her emotional threshold after her daughter witnessing her brings up Holden during her outburst. How will this impact Alex? What will she do next? Does she believe Holden is alive?
In the meantime, fans can expect to learn more about The Countess (Lady Gaga). While Donovan (Matt Bomer) is still reeling from his breakup with Elizabeth, he has a new problem to deal with. He becomes the target of a "dangerous rival" of The Countess. Who is this person and how is he/she connected to The Countess?
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, "American Horror Story" (AHS) creator revealed that The Countess has a "very strong connection" to March that will be dealt with in Episode 3, 4 and 5. Murphy also addressed a question about Donovan's next step after The Countess dumps him.
According to Murphy, Donovan meets a new woman, who is Angela Bassett's Ramona Royale. "Well he's adrift. In episode 3, he meets somebody else who has also been hurt badly by The Countess, which is Angela Bassett's character Ramona Royale. So they team up and are quite good together. It's all mayhem and bloodshed and revenge," Murphy said.
