Just a few weeks after micro-blogging company Twitter launched its Moments tool, it is offering two new sets of tools that app developers and web publishers could use to make tweets appear pretty on their sites and on mobile apps.

The two new tools are Publisher and Curator. Web publishers and app developers can now use these latest tools from Twitter to customize tweets and the way they look on both sites and mobile devices.

Michael Ducker, product manager, revealed on Wednesday that the Twitter uses both Publisher and Curator to power its Moments tool.

News publishers and other news sites can use Publisher's features to customize how tweets get embedded on their sites; while app developer or other Twitter users can also use it to make a collection of tweets that is themed to suit a purpose on their sites.

This themed collection can be done manually or automatically by an app created by another. Rather than emphasize texts of tweets, the collection can be embedded in a grid format to highlight the values of photos and videos.

Twitter is collaborating with Spredfast, Dataminr, ScribbleLive, Wayin, and Flowics so that web publishers can organize tweets from within the services they are already using.

"Previously, when you wanted to publish a great story with Tweets, you had to manually manage a bunch of Tweet IDs, and embed them into your app or website one at a time," Twitter wrote in a statement. "With our new end-to-end ecosystem, we've simplified the storytelling process."

Curator tool is like a dashboard with a lot of fascinating filtering tools. It helps news publishers to discover and locate tweets that apply to their relevant needs. With Curator, a publisher can access analytics features that show trending topics and other discussions that trending on Twitter.

News and other web publishers will find both Publisher and Curator great for their tweet-embedding needs, and app developers can create custom tweet timelines with them for use on their apps.

"Great stories drive great audiences," Twitter wrote in a statement. "With your tweets organized using these new tools, you can display them on your own websites with Embedded Timelines...and in your apps."
