While everyone is eager to see a major update for "Clash Of Clans" during the Oct. 24 ClashCon Gaming Event this weekend, the developer company Supercell has already unveiled an optional Halloween update with a variety of limited-time treats.
The update is not major as it adds a few pumpkins to village maps in addition to the special Halloween Cauldron obstacles that reward gamers with extra Elixir, according to Game Zone. Furthermore, the 1-gem Spell Factory boost special is back and it will run through Halloween weekend.
Meanwhile, Supercell will announce a major update at the first ever gaming event to be held in Helsinki, Finland this weekend. Rumors have it that "Clash of Clans" could receive a nighttime gameplay mode. The nighttime gameplay mode will "fill with shiny gems and torches for illumination and overall visibility of the battlefield will deteriorate," Master Herald reported.
Although details on new updates expected to come to the game are yet to be unveiled, gamers are already speculating that the first updates will concern Town Hall 11. Currently, players can only advance to Town Hall 10. In case there will be an upgrade to the Town Hall level, high chances are that Supercell will upgrade Barbarians to level 8.
Gamers as well expect to see a Clan War Tournament during the upcoming event. In the tournament, the winning clan will have to face another different winning clan as the game follows a bracketed system.
Furthermore, the four spots in the Dark Barracks of "Clash of Clans" with a "coming soon" tagline is also likely to be filled in by Supercell, with the addition of new upgrades and powers. It is rumored that a new single player map might be included, in addition to new achievements and quests. A third Hero will also feature after the King and Queen.
