Zac Efron recently celebrated his 28th birthday with girlfriend Sami Miro. After dating for a year, multiple reports suggest that the two are thinking of taking their relationship to the next level.
According to Hollywood Take, Efron and Miro celebrated their anniversary in a low key, mellow hmanner. The two rarely post couple photos on Instagram so it was such a delight for fans when they shared pictures of the celebration.
The couple first met through a common friend Dylan Penn in 2014. Since then they have been spotted going out multiple times and eventually the "High School Musical" actor began referring to her as his girlfriend in October last year.
Efron and Miho made their first red carpet debut for "We Are Your Friends" in August.
In an interview with Elle, Miro admitted that it was difficult to have someone as popular as the Disney alum for a boyfriend. The model admitted that they never spoke about their relationship in public a lot because they did not want the attention.
Miro shared that she was caught off guard with how fans have taken an interest in their relationship. She said that she would often place herself in the shoes of others to see what got them "obsessed" with Efron's whereabouts. She then explained that she eventually learned how to embrace it, adding that she is not one to hide anything in her life.
Miro added that if it was up to her, she would want to post more photos of their relationship on social media. She shared that it was important for her to update others about what's going on with her life.
Although they have been going out for only a year, both admitted that their relationship is definitely something serious. Many fans have started to wonder when the actor will eventually pop the question but Miro held that they are in no rush, adding that they are enjoying life as it is.
