Khloe Kardashian has decided to cancel her book tour to look after her husband, Lamar Odom, on Oct. 23, Friday.
After being found unconscious and motionless on the floor of the Love Ranch in Nevada in Oct. 13, with a blood stain and a white unknown substance on his mouth and nose, Odom remains hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
It is still uncertain if the former NBA Lakers star would require a kidney transplant, but he is reportedly conscious after nearly three days of being in critical condition.
Additionally, Kardashian's book tour was cancelled upon the news that her husband struggled with aspiration pneumonia and went through two emergency operations.
Suspicions by authorities and brothel employees arose as to the use of cocaine and alcohol by Odom in the comfort room. The police are currently investigating the incident and testing Odom's blood, adding that the former Lakers player may be confronted with criminal charges if proven guilty.
Further expressing her concern for Odom and her appreciation to well-wishers, Kardashian posted on her website that, "The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar," as reported by Daily News.
In addition, the lawyer of the 31-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, Laura Wasser, reportedly withdrew the couple's divorce filing in Oct. 21, Wednesday.
Kardashian's latest book "Strong Looks Better Naked" remains to be released on Nov. 3 of this year. This is her first self-help publication that revolves around her weight-loss experience and life after her break-up with Odom two years ago. According to US Magazine, Kardashian reportedly lost weight and shifted to a healthier lifestyle and diet due to her separation from the former NBA player.
