The romance comedy titled "Meet Miss Anxiety" featuring a South Korean director and four Chinese actors is set to hit theaters in China on Dec. 5.
On Nov. 3, Monday, the cast members Tong Dawei, Wallace Chung, Zhang Zilin and Zhou Xun met the press, CRIEnglish reported.
"Meet Miss Anxiety" director Kwak Jae-yong is known for the 2001 film "My Sassy Girl," which he wrote and directed. In 2008, the film's Hollywood version of the same name was directed by Yann Samuell and starred Elisha Cuthbert, Jesse Bradford and Austin Basis.
Aside from "Meet Miss Anxiety," both the main actors Tong and Chung of the Kwak-directed film are also doing other 2015 movies.
Currently filming a Hollywood movie is Tong, who stars in the 2015 film "Hollywood Adventures" with fellow Chinese actors Huang Xiaoming and Zhao Wei as well as South Korean-American "Fast & Furious" actor Sung Kang.
Chung is also set to appear in 2015 fantasy adventure film "Monster Hunt" with Bai Baihe, Sandra Ng, Eric Tsang and Kai Ko, who is currently involved in a drug use controversy with Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan.
On the other hand, Zhuo has recently returned to television in the series "Red Sorghum," an adaptation of Nobel-winning author Mo Yan's 1986 novel. Playing a 19-year-old character in the 60-episode series, the 40-year-old actress stirred controversy, Asia One reported.
"There are so many dialogue scenes. I was sick of remembering the lines. One day, I almost vomited from trying to recite so many lines," said Zhuo who starred in the 2012 Hollywood film "Cloud Atlas" with Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant and Susan Sarandon.
Meanwhile, Zhang previously starred the 2014 action adventure film "The Monkey King" with Chow Yun-Fat, Aaron Kwok and Donnie Yen.
Before becoming an actress, Zhang won Miss China in 2007 and went on to win the Miss World 2007 title, making her the first East Asian woman to win the crown.
