WWE Raw Review: Youngsters Shine In Last Nights
With the news that John Cena and Randy Orton won't be in action for a while, WWE needed to show to the WWE universe that life does go on after these to legends of sports entertainment.
The start of Raw was predictable, predictable meaning that the show started with talking and then someone interrupts and then they get put into a match. The Authority opened up the show and praised Seth Rollins, only to be interrupted by Roman Reigns.
That lead the Authority to say that all the winners of last night's Hell In A Cell matches will be paired against each other. This meant that all the winners in these series of matches will go up against each other in a fatal four way.
Matches included Dolph Ziggler Vs Big E and Neville vs Alberto Del Rio, which were good matches. Also on the card was a six man tag team which saw team PCB take on team Bella. This match ended brilliantly as Paige turned heel hopefully creative goes the whole 12 yards with Paige's character.
The night would end with a fatal four of Kevin Owens vs Alberto Del Rio vs Roman Reigns vs Dolph Ziggler, which was the main event. Not the four fighters you initially would have thought that would be fighting each other, but the match was a great main event.
As good as this match was, sadly the result seemed inevitable. Reigns won this one and will now be the number one contender for Seth Rollins' title. You would be forgiven for forgetting, but Seamus still has the Money In The Bank contract.
What WWE do with the Celtic Warrior's character appears to be seen. Personally I would like creative to go outside the box and have a Money In The Bank match. What I mean is that Seamus puts his contract on the line.
I just think that could complement his big headed attitude that WWE has given to him since he returned. Not a bad night of Raw, the young guns wrestled their heart out, but the creative team have left a bit to be desired from some of it's decisions.
That's not the first time that I have said that.
