Oppo and Samsung have brought in their brand new mobile handsets to the market - Oppo R7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy A8 - which both features an all metal design. The chamfered edges extend all through the edges on the phone, and with lots of similarities, both models share their own differences too.
Oppo R7 plus is bigger as it sports a 6-inch display. This might seem to be uncomfortable to people who is not used to handling bigger phones, whereas Samsung shares an easy to hold design with its 5.7-inch display. While Oppo R7 is 7.88mm thick, Samsung offers a sleek design with thickness of 5.9mm. It is the slimmest phone ever brought out by Samsung that weighs only 150 grams, while Oppo R7 Plus weighs around 192grams.
Both the phone models present an option for finger print scanning. Oppo R7 Plus has the scanner below the camera, while Samsung scanner is integrated in the home screen itself. The stand by time of both phones is pretty impressive and it might be difficult to kill battery in a day even after continuous streaming of videos.
Samsung and Oppo have taken definitive care into ensuring that camera works perfectly. Oppo R7 Plus poses a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, while Samsung phone poses 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. According to Android Authority, Samsung A8 camera work perfectly fine even when light conditions are low and offer sharp images. The only not quite impressive aspect of Samsung Galaxy A8 is that it has only one speaker attached, making it difficult while listening to music or watching videos.
