If recent reports are to be taken to account, then the two companies that has been ruling the mobile device industry is Samsung and Apple. Both the companies have now brought out their newer models of tablets - Apple iPad mini 3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.
Apple iPad Mini 3 supports 3G and LTE network, and being the newer model of iPad Mini, this device also has an option for fingerprint scanning, which is lacking in Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.
Both the tablets share almost similar display structure, in which, Apple iPad mini 3 has dimension of 7.87x5.30x.30 while Samsung has a display dimension of 7.36x4.25x.35. The screen size of Apple iPad Mini 3 is 7.9 inches while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 has a display size of 7 inches that uses 800x1280 pixels.
With regard to the storage and memory comparison, Samsung gains advantage as it contains an option to extend its memory of up to 32 GB, whereas iPad Mini 3 comes in three different memory variants without any additional memory slot. The iPad Mini 3 is also equipped with 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 has 3.15MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera.
Apple iPad Mini 3 is more expensive than that of Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for the additional features it offers. Samsung Galaxy tab 4 is priced at 190 Euro, which makes it an ideal purchase choice for users who wish to play games and only browse the Internet, while iPad Mini 3 is priced at 320 euro.
