"The Walking Dead" star Katelyn Nacon recently explained her character Enid's decision to leave Alexandria.
She also responded to rumors that Enid could be helping Glenn (Steven Yeun) out.
In an interview with Wetpaint, Nacon said, "I think her main plan was just to get away from Alexandria because it was getting really messed up there at that time. One thing she really does is run away from her problems, it's kind of a defense mechanism, so I think that was her main focus when she ran away."
During the show's second episode for season 6, Enid left the community of Alexandria around the same time that The Wolves retreated.
Some fans are now speculating that she could have been sent to the town to spy on its people.
Meanwhile, although Nacon didn't exactly say what will happen to her character in the upcoming episodes, she said that fans needs to wait and see because they will be surprised with what is to come.
When asked if Enid has any connection with Glenn, Nacon revealed that she didn't even know that the character may have just died.
"I didn't even know Glenn died in the next episode because I haven't gotten the scripts since I haven't been in the episodes because she's gone. I don't really know what happens in these next few episodes," she said.
Nacon added that if the theories will be proven to be true later on, she will be more than happy because this means she will be part of more episodes.
"The Walking Dead" season 6 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
