The release date for "Sense8" season 2 may be slated for 2016 but fans of the Netflix original series cannot wait to find out what will happen next to the sensates. Spoilers revealed that new cast members would be introduced in the premiere episode.
According to Christian Today, Kala (Tina Desai) will eventually choose Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) over Rajan (Purab Kohli). The outlet speculated that the pain of losing Kala will destroy Rajan and eventually turn him into a villain. It was said that fans can expect a "sinister" and "smitten" Rajan come season 2.
Although it has yet to be confirmed if Kala and Wolfgang will actually end up together, the publication pointed out that their closeness will bring nothing but trouble to Kala and Rajan's relationship.
Seeing a different side to Kohli's character may not come off as a surprise to viewers given that the actor agreed that Rajan may just be a tad bit "too good to be true." He pointed out that it would be great to explore a darker side of him.
Kohli also said that Rajan definitely felt a strong connection towards Kala and he would not give her up that easily. It would definitely be interesting to see how the relationship would pan out in the coming season. Kohli joked that if it was up to him, he would want the second season to focus more on Rajan and Kala.
The cast and crew of "Sense8" has yet to shoot for season 2 but multiple reports suggest that new episodes will air mid-2016, given that it would follow season 1's schedule.
