Reeling team Mainz 05 (4-6-1, 13 points) will try to find only its second win in their last seven matches as they host streaking squad VfL Wolfsburg (6-2-3, 21 points) at the Coface Arena this Saturday, November 7th for a 2015-2016 Bundesliga matchup.

Mainz is presently on a three-game winless slide with their last game an uneventful 3-3 draw with cellar-dwelling FC Augsburg at the SGL Arena last Saturday, as reported by ESPN.

Japanese striker Yoshinori Muto pulled off a hat trick for head coach Martin Schmidt's side. He scored at the 18th and 30th minutes in the first half to give Mainz an early 2-0 lead, but Augsburg answered with three straight goals from team captain Paul Verhaegh, midfielder Koo Ja-cheol, and forward Raúl Bobadilla at the 42nd, 50th, and 81st minutes respectively to put Fuggerstädter on top 3-2.

All was not lost for Die Nullfünfer as Muto scored his third goal of the match in injury time to salvage the draw for Mainz and avoid a third consecutive defeat.

Meanwhile, top team Wolfsburg is on a three-game winning run, beating Hoffenheim, Darmstadt, and Bayer Leverkusen in the last three weeks of German top flight competitions.

Their last game was a 2-1 decision against Bayer at the Volkswagen Arena on October 31st, as per Sports Mole.

Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner opened the scoring at the 34th minute, which was immediately answered by Bayer's Mexican forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernández six minutes later. The Wolves' promising 22-year-old midfielder Julian Draxler hit the winner at the 77th to give Dieter Hecking's side the three points as the team moved up to the third spot in the overall standings.

Wolfsburg is projected to dominate this match against Mainz in both ends of the pitch for another convincing victory.

The prediction is a 2-0 triumph for Wolfsburg over Mainz.
