Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will soon be back together for "The Vampire Diaries." After declining many a times return to the series, Nina Dobrev's presence in the upcoming season has been confirmed. Apparently, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's relationship is strained due to former lovers working together again.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 is sure to have a cameo sequence for Nina Dobrev's character Elena Gilbert. Paul Wesley who plays the character of Stefan Salvatore informed TVInsider, "Elena's still a very big part of the story. Her body's in danger in the first few episodes, and Damon is doing everything he can to make sure it stays safe if and when she wakes up. We all had imagined this complete reboot where Elena was gone, but she's talked about so much!"
The report has received many positive responses, since fans really want to see Nina Dobrev back in "The Vampire Diaries." Ian Somerhalder also confirmed her return indirectly. According to KdramaStars, "Even Ian Somerhalder said that the decision not to kill off Nina Dobrev's character was deliberate because it opens opportunities for her to come back to the series."
Nikki Reed is sure not happy about it. Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's relationship is being affected with all the rumors of Nina Dobrev's return and pressure to start a family.
Reports have emerged from the sources of OK! Magazine that Reed is looking for a strengthened career and having children is not on her mind. Whereas, Ian Somerhalder is ready to start a family of his own.
The report further adds that Nikki Reed is ambitious and does not want to put a stop to her career. Somerhalder and Reed are talking family things out but with Nina Dobrev back on the sets of "The Vampire Diaries," things are sure going to be tense.
