Android Marshmallow rollout is coming soon for the LG G Series, namely LG G2, LG G3, LG G Flex 2, And LG G4 on the T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon network mobile networks soon.
Almost all the Google Nexus devices are running on the latest Android Marshmallow operating system. It's about time that the recently released non-Nexus devices get their go on this update.
LG G4 was scheduled to be the first non-Nexus device to get the Android Marshmallow update. However, due to some unwanted and sudden troubles, it could not happen. Though now, it seems that these issues are resolved as the users are beginning to receive this update in Europe.
It is only a matter of time that this update hits North America and Asia. It is expected that all the LG G4 sets will get this update before Feb. 2016. The other LG G series smartphones like LG G2, LG G3, and LG G Flex 2 will follow suit.
T-Mobile has confirmed on its support forum that it is prepping the LG G Series smartphones for the upcoming Android Marshmallow update.
The update will be released as an over the air update which means that different handsets will get it at different times. The users will get a notification as and when their device will be eligible to receive this update.

Android Marshmallow update will bring a lot of changes in the material design of the device, according to BGR. The users who are currently using it are pretty content with its enhancements.
There is an enhancement in the battery consumption, reduction in touch lag, and the fix for device over heating. There is also the addition of many new icons and animations.
