There are rumors that Sony may release the Android Marshmallow update for Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, Z5 Premium, Z4 Tablet, Z3+, Z3, Z3 Compact, Z3 Tablet Compact, Z2, Z2 Tablet, M5, C5 Ultra, M4 Aqua and C4.
According to rumors, Sony is planning to release the Android Marshmallow update for a few of high end Xperia devices before the month of December. Earlier, there were rumors that the update was delayed and may be released in early 2016.
According to Sony Mobile Blog, the Android Marshmallow OTA update is expected to be released for the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, Sony Xperia C4, Sony Xperia M5, Sony Xperia Z3 Plus, Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, along with Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet. Sony is yet to confirm this list of device and there are speculations that more devices may be added to the list.
Android Marshmallow was released last month along with Google Nexus 5X. It is since being getting trickled down to many flag ship non-Nexus devices. However, it does not mean that all the recently released devices will get this update any time soon.
