Theo Galavan sends Barbara out for revenge in Fox's "Gotham" Season 2 Episode 8.
"Gotham" Season 2 Episode 8 is entitled "Tonight's the Night." According to Spoilers Guide, Episode 8 would see Galavan send Barbara after James Gordon while he tried to establish a business deal with Bruce Wayne. The episode would also see Captain Nathaniel Barnes and Harvey Bullock, who were hot on Barbara's path, and Edward Nygma would bump into a familiar person.
To connect things, Episode 7, which was entitled "Mommy's Little Monster," saw Butch Gilzean lead Penguin Cobblepot to the latter's mother Gertrud, along with Theo Galavan and Tabitha Galavan. Gilzean handed over Penguin while Theo killed his mother. Penguin escaped with an oath to kill Theo to avenge his mother.
Theo, now a mayor, told GCPD and the public that Penguin offended him so he ordered Harvey Dent to arrest the latter. Gordon hunted down Gilzean, as he suspected that Theo was mounting Penguin. Gilzean told Gordon that Theo had been blackmailing Penguin and was the one who killed Gertrud.
With a plot to capture Penguin, Theo also attended a public meeting. Penguin and his team arrived but was quickly taken down by Gordon. Theo told Gordon to shoot Penguin, but the latter escaped again. Meanwhile, Tabitha killed a GCPD strike force member while Edward Nygma's split personality tried to persuade him that he enjoys fleeing from killing. But then, the split personalities merged eventually.
Meanwhile, new stills of "Gotham" Season 2 Episode 9 have been released via Comic Book. Entitled "A Better Pill To Swallow," Episode 9 will see Natalie Alyn Lind as Silver St. Cloud, Michelle Gomez as The Lady, Jon Sklaroff as Billy Boy, Raul Castillo as Eduardo Flamingo, and Ron Rifkin as Father Creel.
"Gotham" Season 2 Episode 8, "Tonight's the Night," airs on Nov. 9 while Episode 9, "A Better Pill To Swallow," airs on Nov. 16.
