New DLC details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" to feature new characters for the "Blood and Wine" expansion, as well as Fringella Vigo and Anna Henrietta added in the storyline.
CD Projekt RED confirmed that the "Blood and Wine" expansion for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature several characters that were featured in "The Witcher" books and novels, GeekSnack reported. The announcement came from "The Witcher 3's" narrative designer Mateusz Tomaskiewicz during the PAX Australia event and explained further that "Blood and Wine" will take place in the Kingdom of Touissant.
Tomaskiewicz added that gamers will likely see other characters such as the sorceress Fringella Vigo and her cousin and the duchess of Touissant, Anna Henrietta. Fringello Vigo made he first appearance in the first game and made a short appearance during "The Witcher 3's" main storyline, while gamers will have the opportunity see Ann Henrietta in person within the game during the "Blood and Wine" expansion.
Community Manager Marcin Momot added that "Blood and Wine" will feature new monsters such as Manticores, Bruxas and Strigas, new horse breeds and ModKits for the console and PC platforms. It is also rumored that "Blood and Wine" will launch sometime within the first haft of 2016 as it was originally intended in the early months.
Tomaskewicz shared several details regarding the quest in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" main story and the first expansion, "Hearts of Stone. He commented that they could done better in terms of plot developments, but were restricted by the rules they placed upon themselves in making the story, Stevivor reported.
Many gamers enjoyed the "Hearts of Stone" expansion due to its rich storyline and twist in the plot making the game more interesting than in the main quest and CD Projekt RED will continue to do so in the "Blood and Wine" expansion.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
