"Final Fantasy XV" will feature two new monters in the game, as well as a hidden city within the "Episode: Duscae" demo.
Square Enix revealed two new monsters for "Final Fantasy XV" as the game's official Twitter page tweeted an image of what appeared to be a Naga and it was mainly posted for Halloween. As seen in the photo this monster has a snake like body with a humanoid head as the Naga was based from Yoshitaka Amano's design and the modelling combines that original glossy and scary look with the game's realistic texture.
An update on the description stated that the Naga can be found in dark areas, unlike most of the wild life within the game and Art Director Tomohiro Hasegawa shared how difficult it was to make the monster as real as possible within "Final Fantasy XV".
Aside from the Naga, a samurai like monster called a Numb Blade is also added in "Final Fantasy XV", GearNuke reported. According to Chiro Hashi, the Numb Blade's design is based on an actual samurai warrior complete with katana and kimono. It is not stated whether this monster will only appear in dark places similar to the Naga, but judging by how the monster looks menacing during night, it safe to assume that Numb Blade is in his element when the players face him at night.
In other news, NicoNico username ApaNel discovered a new city within "Final Fantasy XV" demo, "Episode: Duscae", The Christian Post reported.
According to ApaNel, the new city in "Episode: Duscae" is stated to be the City of Lestallum at the south-westen part of the map as he followed a long road towards the city within the game.
Another tactic for discovering the city is that the gamers must not first finish the demo and when they are too far away from the path, the gamers will notice that they can open the item menu just before the game kills them off. The resuly of this is that they will not get the "game over" screen, but the partlu transparent screen in the game menu will remain open, enabling them to go to the City of Lestallum.
Square Enix will announce the release date for "Final Fantasy XV" at a special event in the Summer next year.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch sometime in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
