"Street Fighter 5" will feature six possible DLC characters, several special editions of the game and Capcom's reason's for the delay of the beta test 2 in the PC version.
Capcom revealed their plans for "Street Fighter 5's" DLC during the Paris Games Week as the future content will feature six characters that can be downloaded and join in the main roster. Capcom teased an image of the six silhouettes as several gaming fans are wondering who are these fighters that are included in the game's future DLC, EventHubs reported.
Several gaming fans have stated their opinions on the six characters in DLC as username Catalyst suggest that Balrog, Akuma, Guile Dudley and Alex are the possible pick, while username MajinTenshinhan line-up could be Balrog, Guile, Akuma, Ibuki and Alex and username Dream pick could be Alex, Dudley, Urien, Ibuki and Mike Haggar.
Alex, Guile, Alex and Akuma were the sure favorites for the DLC with only Ibuki, Dudley, Urien and Haggar being the less favorable and likely characters to appear in the game. The most interesting of all of this is that three gaming fans were not able to identify the character in the fifth silhouette, drawing a conclusion that i could be an old character with a new appearance just like Ken, Dhalsim etc. or a new fighter debuting in the game.
Two new characters were already leaked in the game's hidden code algorithm and they are identified as "TUT" and "FAN". "Street Fighter 5" will contain over 22 character in the roster which include Ryu, Chun-Li, Charlie Nash, M. Bison, Cammy White, Birdie, Ken Masters, Necalli, Vega, R. Mika, Rashid, Karin Kanzuki, Zangief, Laura and Dhalsim.
In other news, Capcom also explained the reason for the delay of "Street Fighter 5's" second beta test as they stated that they are launching new contents and features within the game. Launching the PC and PlayStation 4 beta simultaneously could several troubleshoot issues for both the PS4 and PC platforms, making it more difficult to fix.
Aside from the beta test delay, there are also three special editions for "Street Fighter 5" such as the "Hot Package", "Valuable Edition" and "Volcanic Edition", Attack of the Fanboy reported.
The Hot Package will contain battle costumes for Ryu and Chun-Li, fight money of 1000 Zenny and a Limited title DLC for $78.99. The Valuable Edition will feature all character guide DVD, Visual Book: Production Note, Command List, all 16 character limited costume DLC, battle costumes for Cammy and M. Bison, 500 Zenny and a Replacement cover jacket. It will cost around $139.99.
The Volcanic Edition is a combination of the two mentioned special editions and it will cost around $149.99.
"Street Fighter 5" will officially launch on Feb. 16, 2016 in North America and on Feb. 18 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
